How do I access the Workforce Development System in New York State?

 The system is most easily accessed through One-Stop Career Centers – physical locations throughout the State that house a multitude of services, including: job placement, employment counseling, information on unemployment insurance, veterans programs, etc. These employment services include those performed by the State Department of Labor, County Employment and Training programs, Adult Literacy, and Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID). Information can be obtained on training providers, the local labor market and services to assist you in furthering your career goals.
