I have registered as a lobbyist in New York City and/or Suffolk County. Am I required to register with the Joint Commission on Public Ethics?

 Regardless of whether you are registered with the New York City Clerk or Suffolk County, if you expend or receive over $5,000 during a calendar year on lobbying activities, as defined in the Lobbying Act, you must still register and report with the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics.
