How can I get information about the NYS Sex Offender Registry?

 The New York State Sex Offender Registry is maintained by the Division of Criminal Justice Services. Sex offenders are classified as either low risk (Level 1), moderate risk (Level 2) or high risk (Level 3). You can search for Level 2 or Level 3 offenders on the DCJS website.
