Where can I find statistics on agriculture in New York State?

 You can find ten years of historical agricultural data on the New York Agricultural Statistics Service’s web site that has a complete compilation of agricultural statistics for New York State, dating back ten years. Statistical information can be obtained for other years in a hard copy by calling NASS at 1-800-821-1276.

Their service is a result of a cooperative agreement between the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets and the National Agricultural Statistics Service of USDA to provide details about current trends in agriculture and so farm operators and farm businesses can make informed business decisions.
