Question Where can I find information about peregrine falcons in New York State? Where can I find links to web cameras that keep track of peregrine falcon nesting boxes?

Answer The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s web site contains a great deal of information about this endangered bird, as well as the steps DEC is taking to increase and protect the peregrine falcon population in New York State. The page also contains links to several peregrine nesting web cams, including the New York State web camera on the Dunn Memorial Bridge in Albany. The web cams usually operate from late March, when eggs first appear in the nests, to around mid June, when the hatchlings finally leave the nests.
