What is a benthic map and where can I find one of the Hudson River Estuary?

 A benthic map shows data about a river's sedimentary floor in its geographic context. An online version of the Hudson River Estuary benthic map can be viewed on the Department of Environmental Conservation’s website. Directions on how to use the map are also provided.
