 The NYS Division of Probation & Correctional Alternatives (DPCA) exercises general supervision over the administration of local probation agencies and the use of correctional alternative programs throughout the State. DPCA reviews and may investigate formal complaints received from the public regarding the conduct and practices of a local probation officer, office or another DPCA funded community corrections program.
