What are the requirements to become a watch, guard, or patrol agency in New York State?

 An applicant must be at least 25 years of age, a principal in the business, and have passed the examination within the last two years. You must be free of disqualifying criminal convictions. In addition, an applicant must demonstrate either two years' experience or two years' equivalent position and experience.
